One of the best-selling electric is the choice of artists and players all over the world! By no means exclusively a blues guitar, this model comes equipped with a high quality saddle transducer pick-up and "Pre-Fix" pre-amp, with onboard controls, giving players from all genres full command of their sound. Controls include volume, brilliance, treble, contour, bass frequency, notch, and a phase switch. The Antique Natural lacquer finish of this guitar beautifully enhances its figured Maple back and sides. Gibson's EC-20, famous for it's Starburst fingerboard inlay, is now available with another Gibson original inlay: the delicate Floret motif.

The Floret- meaning "small flower" -was created by master luthiers of Gibson Montana for the Cl-30 model in the Custon Line, has been in demand on other Gibson acoustic styles. The simple elegance of the tri-petal design gives the EC-20 a complementary personality to the bold assertiveness of the Starburst inlay.

The guitar builders at Gibson Montana build the EC-20 with the same features and care of all our fine, American handmade acoustic guitars. These features include:

All of the electric-acoustics in this line offer a solid Spruce top, arched Maple back and solid Maple sides, which combine to produce a quick, punchy sound just right for amplified music applications. Each has a short scale neck (24 3/4" long), which enhances playability. The EC-10 features a high quality saddle transducer pick-up and pre-amp with onboard controls including volume, brilliance, treble, mid, bass and a phase switch. Vibrant lacquer finishes of Ebony, Blue or Red augment the Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, Abalone rosette inlay and nickel tuners.

Made by the Gibson Montana Custom Shop for the guitarist who wants it all; this guitar is truly a work of art! Abalone trims the solid Spruce top, and an ornate "Autumn leaf" design is inlaid in the Ebony fingerboard and in the headstock. Abalone also graces the rosette and bridge pins. Those with an eye for detail will note the bird's beak design reflected in the neck at the soundhole, the Ebony bridge and the pickguard. Like all guitars in the line, this one features Gibson's fast-action neck, Advanced Bracing Pattern, and factory-installed transducer pickup with active pre-amp. Rosewood back and sides, a bound fingerboard and headstock, and gold tuners top off the list of appointments.

A Venetian cutaway of the CL-30, this model provides increased playing comfort and access up the neck, while retaining a full dreadnought body sound due to its Advanced Bracing Pattern, scalloped and tuned bracing, and dovetail neck-to-body joint. Like the CL-30, this guitar features a solid Spruce top, and exotic African Bubinga back and sides, as well as a Rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
