VINTAGE GIBSON J-50 J50 J 50 DELUXE ACOUSTIC GUITAR

Description: 1978 Gibson J-50 Deluxe dreadnought acoustic guitar.

Cosmetic Condition: Two top cracks that run parallel on either side of the neck where the neck joins the body & extending into the soundhole. Neither crack has been repaired.

Issues: The two top cracks are a result of the neck block shifting forward. This would need to be repaired for the guitar to be a good player again. There is also some sunburst finish around the neck heel. There may have been a repair or the neck may have been reset at some point.  This is a good "project" guitar.  The strings have been removed since the guitar was photographed & will ship without strings.

Weight: 4 lbs 8.8 oz.

Neck: 3-piece neck with rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets with pearloid dot inlays & no fretwear. Closed-back Gibson tuners. 1.68" nut width.

Body: Bound body with solid spruce top; mahogany back & sides; rosewood bridge.

Case: Vintage hard shell case included.
