Up for auction are some Gibson guitar parts that didn't make Gibson's high standards

I purchased these parts from an ex Gibson employee

The body had a small burn thru on the back, when the neck was removed the top broke through the sound hole

The body has an inspection sheet of paper that says BKE AN, so maybe a EC-30 BKE or it's also shaped similar to a _J-185

It really has a very pretty arched flamed back

There are a couple cracks in the side near the cutaway that probably happened when the neck was removed

The sides have three routes for electronics

All the braces are still tight and

The neck is staight, but was in early stages production and for a Dove guitar

It needs to be sanded and it didn't get a serial number

The neck has an area on the head marked in pencil seperated and has a small chip on the back of the head  

These parts aren't really meant to go together, the heal of the neck will have to be shortened to fit

The neck is meant for a 25.5 scale, so you may have to move the bridge, the bridge is not glued to the body

And the dovetail joint may have to have some wood added or removed

I'm including a rosewood bridge that needs to be drilled and cleaned up, it has some sort of resin on it

I'm also including 6 hardwood bridge pins

I'm including a used Taylor hard case that has some wear but still solid and a nice case

I decided I'm not qualified to complete this project so I'm passing it on

It has lots of work ahead and will never be a true Gibson but if your lucky it might sound like one
