Gibson J-45 True Vintage Acoustic Guitar with Hardshell Case
 
Up for auction is a beautiful Gibson J-45 True Vintage acoustic guitar with its original Gibson TV hardshell case.  This is a True Vintage model from 2007 that is in fantastic condition!  (Yes, it is the expensive True Vintage Model, not the much less expensive Standard Model.)  The guitar sports the classic "Gibson sunburst" finish along with "pre-war" features and construction, including a banner ("Only A Gibson Is Good Enough") headstock.  The True Vintage model comes with Madagascar fingerboard and bridge and has mother-of-pearl dot inlays on both.  The Gibson J-45 is especially favored by singers and songwriters and many find it a perfect compliment for vocals that blends well without overpowering the singer. The mahogany back and sides provide a wonderful dry, woody tone that works great for country, rock, alt., blues, etc..  The sunburst finish makes this a beautiful guitar to look at -- with classic Gibson acoustic tone! 
   
This guitar has been kept in a smoke-free, humidity-controlled environment and has never been taken out for gigging.  It has been handled very carefully (no dents, dings, etc.) and has very limited playing time with no appreciable wear.
    
Included is the original (very sturdy!) Gibson True Vintage hardshell case with the pink interior lining.
    
The list price of this particular model is currently $3,874 and it sells new at some online stores today for $2,999.
  
Note, however: The J-45 True Vintage model is hard to find new right now.  Many dealers are currently out of stock and are back-ordered and waiting shipments.  My guitar has been handled VERY carefully and looks like it just came out of the box (with a few faint marks on the pickguard, of course).
