Gibson Acoustic

  Up for your viewing pleasure is this c. 1970-71 Gibson Hummingbird Custom in original extra fine condition. From what was told to me this was purchased new back in '70 or '71 for a husband by his wife and was rarely played. It has remained in almost pristine condition.This is sure to be a collectors piece for years to come. As best as I can tell nothing has been changed or modified. This guitar really plays like butter with the action at the 12th fret at an amazing 2/32" with no buzzing. It's a joy to play and the tone  is angelic.  Not a dent anywhere and no cracks. Upper part of sound hole (under the pick guard) had a tiny crack near the binding and was repaired at The Guitar Factory Orlando, FL (Vintage experts and Gibson warranty dealer) and if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't even notice it.The new owner will surely be very pleased with this Gibson gem.Here are some specs on the Hummingbird:

X-braced natural finish finished spruce top, cherry finished mahogany back and sides,  3-piece 14-fret mahogany neck with volute, white-bound 20 fret rosewood fretboard with pearl block inlays, rosewood belly bridge, w-b-w-b-w double-bound body, 3-point tortoise plastic pickguard with engraving, pearl crown and "Gibson" headstock inlay, chrome Grover tuners, 16" lower bout, 25-1/4" scale, 1-11/16" nut width, 4" to 4-3/4" body depth.
