Re-listed due to non-paying bidder. The MK series was made by Gibson in the mid-late 70’s with some distinctive design features such as the cool-shaped rosewood bridge and rosewood soundhole rosette. Old style peghead and Gibson logo. This guitar plays (action is not low, but quite playable) and sounds well. There are three long cracks on the back of the body that have been glued. There are no top cracks, but there are some pretty good sized dings. There are no neck cracks. A strap button has been added at the base of the neck, treble side. Not sure if the wood strap button at the bottom of the body is original. Neck is straight, frets and fingerboard are in good shape. No buzzes. The tuners are not original, but there are no extra holes. A non-original chipboard case is included. .
