Gibson Acoustic

Hi, I'm offering an original vintage 1959 Gibson LG-0 in solid mahagonny.  I also have a letter dating back to an owner from Ohio in 1977 authenticating the guitar as a 1959, Serial #T6299.  Starting with the guitar, it is in very nice shape asthetically and functionally.  The wood is beautiful and shows some light character scaring thorouhgout but to be honest you have to look for the flaws but they are there.  At first glance, you could mistake it for a newer guitar.  The action is perfect and low with no buzzing.  The nut measures 1 5/8.  Frets are amazing and I would say a 9 out of 10.  The tuners are original and work great.  The bridge has a few harline cracks;  a)  a 1/8 of inch from top  b)  between pegs A, D, and G.  You would have to look hard to notice and they absolutely don't interfere with any functionality.  They also dont' look they have changed in a long time meaning they won't continue.   I can't tell if the bridge has been off or not (may have been) for sure.  Either way, it is perfect, dead on and has no issues.  The tortoise shell bindging is all excellent all the way around.  On the lower back side binding their was a very small hairline crack repaired.  When I say hairline, it was truly hairline and at this point unoticeably but I believe in full disclosure.  It does not and will not ever present an issue.  The case is raggedy at best.  I repaired some seams but I'm saying that it comes with the guitar but is nothing to brag about.  However, the brass Gibson Case Logo on flap is included and someone has that alone advertised for $175 on Ebay.  This guitar just plays sweet.  All things considered in regards to the character, condition, playabilty and looks....you can't go wrong at this "firm" price.  Please paypal payment immediately after purchase.  I can ship within a few days.  It will be packed properly and professionally.
