Gibson Acoustic

 This is a 1962 Gibson Dove Acoustic guitar in great shape...it was traded in last year and the owner had a lot of work done on it at the Gibson factory back in 2005...he said he loved the tone of adrionack so he had the top replaced with it...he had them install advanced jumbo bracing while they had the top off...they also built a new bridge and refinished the neck and body to make the whole guitar look like new....eeeeekkkkkk...what can you say...he says he liked the sound way better and it looks like new...i said he hurt the value but that didnt matter to him because he thought he would never get rid of it....that being said...it also received a new fret job and a new bone nut...they also put it in a brand new gibson case...i have the paperwork showing everything they did and the price....he spent $2775 having the work done..if the guitar was untouched they show around $5000 in excellent condition in the 2011 Vintage Guitar Buyers guide...a brand new dove retails for over 4 grand now and streets for around $2900 online....this one will smoke them....im going to start this one at the price owner paid to have Gibson do all the work on it...and if thats all it brings then someone got a smokin deal...the maple back and sides let this baby cut thru the mix but still has a great warm tone..nice action, straight neck, plays great...this guitar pretty much looks like new now and it was done in the Gibson factory so you know it was done by professionals...any questions????? just give me a shout and ill try and answer them as quickly as possible....NO RESERVE....so if you decide to bid at the last minute, it wont hurt my feelings...if someone comes in the shop and decides they want it they i reserve the right to pull it....USA and Canada only....Canada shipping might be slightly higher...will be nicely packed and fully insured...see my feedback...bid with confidence..
