March, 2009 Model, Gibson Humingbird Modern Classic in near
mint condition.  Includes factory
electronics and original hard shell archtop Gibson logo case.  Looks and plays perfectly. 

You will have to look very hard to find any signs of
handling.  I have carefully examined the
guitar and the only mark or sign of handling I can find is a slight scuffing on
the back near the lower bought which is shown in the 5th photo.  It can only be seen if the light is reflected
on it (not visible in photo #6).  Otherwise guitar is pristine and
like new.

The Bob Colosi Custom Bone Saddle and Nut upgrades have been
installed and the original Saddle and Nut are also included.  Plays good and sounds good.  No issues with this fine Humming Bird what-so-ever.
There are no cracks, no “seam separation”, no repair and no damage.

The Gibson Hummingbird was winner of Acoustic Guitar's Player's Choice
Award for the Dreadnought Category in 2000, and was described thus: "The
Hummingbird has a very wide range of sound, from gutsy and loud, to sweet and
soft. Superb for all styles of playing, whether just chording or playing
intricate solos."  Designed to blend
with a singer’s voice, it is one of the most popular singer accompaniment
instruments.  This guitar doesn’t fight
your singing voice, it just hums along beautifully.

According to Gibson, the Hummingbird Modern Classic model is
an electric-acoustic model. It has AAA-grade solid Sitka
spruce top, while the back and sides are constructed from mahogany, as well as
rosewood fretboard with double parallelogram inlays, crown peghead inlay
headstock, nickel Grover rotomatic tuners and custom-made hummingbird
tortoise-shell pickguard. An L.R.Baggs Element Active pickup system is also
installed.
