A very nice vintage Gibson Archtop acoustic guitar L-48.  Mahogony top and sides with a maple back and kluson style tuners.  Includes black carrying case as well.  Guitar has a nice sound and is very good condition.  There are several minor surface scratches and nicks from use, but none are very deep or long.  The lower edges of the head are scratched along the edge closest to the neck.  Pretty color in the wood!  Accent color around the shape of the body on the sides has yellowed from age and has some vertical hairline cracks in the finish.  Pick guard looks good.  All the parts of the guitar are solid and securely intact!  On the back of the head is engraved into the wood "Made in USA".  There are also the hand-etched numbers of "4866".  Black case is in good condition, but handle has come loose on one side.  Inside fabric looks worn but still serves its purpose.  Let me know what questions you might have about this beautiful piece of music history!!!
