Welcome bidders, up for auction today we have an incredibly rare piece. This is the '64 Gibson USA LGO acoustic guitar. 24 7/8" scale. 1.675" nut width. 14 7/16" bottom bout. 4 5/8" deep. Serial#: 236677. The mahogany body/neck combination makes for an incredibly resonant instrument- this beauty just fills the room with sound. The slightly smaller body balances all that mahogany and adds some nice articulation to chords. One strum and you'll be hooked! Strum near the bridge and get that sparkle- strum closer to the middle/neck and this baby warms up nicely. Very dynamic. And this is spot-on for fingerpicked lines- each note has incredible depth but has enough cut to really make your music come alive. The neck is very comfortable-  a very thin C profile that fits really nicely into your hands. The wood has aged nicely giving us a very light- super resonant instrument- just the way you want it. This LGO is in incredible condition- the frets are clean, truss rod works as it should- just professionally setup with action of 7/64" at the 12th fret low E.  There is light bellying behind the bridge resulting in a slight bridge lift(pics). There are the compressions and light finish wear you'd expect for a guitar of this vintage- but very clean overall. The grain pattern is astounding- just gorgeous! This auction includes the original 'gator' chipboard case. We have been an authorized Gibson dealer for well over a decade. We can authenticate this as original with no breaks or repairs not listed. 3. For your protection, and ours, we ship everything fully insured. International orders over $650 please add $20 for full USPS insurance.

4. Please pay within 48 hours of auction end- we are very accomodating- if you have a problem- please contact us.

5. If an item is damaged in shipping- please keep all packing materials and contact us immediately so we can file a claim.

6. Unfortunately, we can no longer ship to the Russian Federation due to a high rate of theft.

7. Due to new USPS guidelines- certain countries will not accept USPS packages over 42". If that is the case, we can remove the neck or, if it is a set/neck-thru we can ship Fedex International for an additional charge.

8. Flat rate shipping is for continental USA only- all other territories will be calculated.

9. Buyer to pay applicable import duties/taxes- We cannot reduce the shipping value to your country- please don't ask.

10. NY residents to pay sales tax- we don't 'charge' it- we just 'collect' it...
