This is an auction for a sweet vintage Caballeo guitar. This guitar plays great, neck is straight and the frets still have plenty of life in them. It has been professionally repaired by a well respected luthier here in New York who has maintained the guitars of Les Paul, Sting, and the Pizzarellis. There are a few cracks on the top which have been repaired and are stable. The neck had a crack repaired in the back. There was a small piece put in the top the size of a pencil eraser. Someone had a strap holder on the bout which was removed.
Overall the guitar sounds great, with loads of tone from the mahogany body. Plays great and stays in tune. Great all around player.... NO RESERVE!

On Jun-03-11 at 07:12:20 PDT, seller added the following information:I've had a few questions about the guitar. The neck had a crack in it... very shallow... and was repaired professionally. The neck was never snapped off... not even close! Just to clear that up. On another note, if I dont see any bidding go on in the next 24 hours, I am going to pull the auction and sell it locally. I've seen project caballeros go for almost $500, like on eBay now. THIS IS NOT A PROJECT. Its a fully functioning vintage guitar with a lot of life in it! Bid to own it!
