*****Item Description*****

Here we have a very cool c.1937 Gibson J-35 jumbo, fon# 124C-42.  The guitar has obviously been loved for many years but as far as I can tell it has had no cracks or repairs.  The top, back, and sides all have a good bit of play wear, much of it down to the wood.   The top has a very slight belly beneath the bridge and the bridge is lifting a tad on the edges.  The frets and fretboard both have a good bit of wear on the top 5-6 frets.  The neck is nice and straight and has the classic 30's V shape.

It seems as if the guitar has been sitting for years unplayed, but even one pluck of these old strings and you can tell that this guitar will have a very powerful sound.

The width at the nut is 1 3/4" inches.  The guitar comes with a chipcase.
