This vintage Gibson acoustic guitar measures 40 inches in length. It is marked on the inside LG1 and the numbers x8062-9. It has one string that needs to be replaced. There is a scratch on the front side left side that measures about 1/2 inch. The case seems to have the normal wear marks around the edges on some of the sides. You can tell a bit from the photo. There is not a major problem. Other than that this instrument seems to be in very good condition. I believe that this guitar is from the late 50's. I think that those of you that are experts can look up the mark and determine the proper date. I have heard this guitar played and it sounds wonderful.
