This is a classic Gibson J50. Just like Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie picked on. Go back in time!! Big bass response and classic dry timber sound of a 57 year old Gibson. Gee, Gibson made some wonderful guitars at the start. They just knew how to build them! So lightly braced, for maximum tone. Solid spruce top and honduras mahogany. Classic blonde finish. Hardly any finish left above the soundhole because it has been lovingly played. However, the soundhole has not been 'thinned' around the edges through like is so common from many of these guitars which have had  been because of steel thumb picks. Guitar is being sold 'as is' due to age and no returns will be accepted so please ask any questions you need to.

These guitars sell for around $6000 plus secondhand in authentic condition and around $3500 new. Why would you buy a new one when you can have the history of this one! You will have a lifetime companion though, rest assured, opportunities like this are rare. Enjoy some campfires with a real guitar that sings.
