Incredible guitar made during the last year of Orville Gibson's life- 1918 serial number 403XX written by hand in pencil on the original Gibson soundhole sticker. Still very playable after nearly 100 years. Original tuners, original Pat Pending tailpiece, some original bridge pegs (a few replaced),original openback tuners, original finish, original strap button, original ebony fretboard with very little wear, original inlays, original ebony bridge. Has been refretted I believe but hard to tell. All cracks have been treated over the last century, none that aren't stable. Mostly just on the back near the neck. All have been professionally glued and clamped. Very solid and very playable with sweet low action and arrow straight neck.
Note: This guitar comes with a non-original chipboard case but will be packed incredibly well and shipped insured. Best of luck!
