Gibson Acoustic

You are viewing a really nice old antique vintage/ antique collectible, style L Junior Gibson, that's being sold in a newer hard shell case. 

I judge it to be in good condition, with only a few defects, and those are the area beneath the sound hole that shows bare wood due to it's being played without a striker plate, and it has a thin crack from the top of the body to the right of where it is joined together on the back, and that crack travels downward for about five inches and is visible inside the soundhole.  The frets and tuners all look original, and the tailpiece is wooden and has  Patent July 19, 1910.   The bridge has a thin piece of ebony on top and that looks like it may have been altered somewhat.

The face of the neck also has a thin ebony veneer on it that's in good condition.  There are a few small belt buckle scratches on the back and two very slight chips on the head of the tuners. The body  has some slight wear to the finish around the back  edge but not much.

The round tag inside says :   The Gibson Junior Guitar, Style L Jr. Kalamazoo, Mich. USA it has the number ( 63314 ) written in pencil, but is too faint to photograph.

I have re examined the photographs on this ad and the picture of the back appears to show what looks like another short crack or repair opposite the one mentioned above, however this not the case it is a short scrape, and not a crack which was exaggerated by the camera flash.
