Gibson Acoustic

On offer is a Gibson Advanced Jumbo acoustic guitar in tobacco sunburst. It is a limited run reissue of the legendary AJ of the 1930's made in the Gibson Montana USA shop. Serial # is 032990XX and was built in late 2009.  The guitars of the AJ series are nicknamed "The Acoustic Cannon" for very good reason. If you are looking for big, beautiful acoustic tone this guitar will not disappoint.

This Gibson AJ is in excellent-used shape.  It has all the traditional appointments and specs of the original AJ. Top is very nicely bookmatched spruce, back and sides are really nice rosewood, the back sections are particularly well matched. Vintage style open tuners look and work great. Guitar is completely sound, completely stock and has no issues whatsoever. It has not had much playing time with me and I am the first owner, so it is more than ready for the new owner to properly break it in. It is nearly as-new, with condition details noted below.

This guitar looks, plays and sounds outstanding.  It comes with medium-lite strings, and is set up with medium low action. This guitar is in great shape with minimal playing wear.  The frets and fretboard are in excellent shape with virtually no wear. The back of the neck has a tiny dent under the third fret area, but is otherwise as new with no visible signs of wear.

The top is in excellent condition, totally flat with some minor surface finish wear and a few small surface scratches. The finish is a particularly nice tobacco sunburst. Original bridge pins fit snugly in reverse-style bridge, which is solidly attached to the top. The back and sides are in great shape and look fantastic, simply amazing wood was used here, and there is little noticeable wear to the back/side finish. 

This auction includes the original hard plush case (and paperwork) in great working and cosmetic condition.
