For sale is my Vintage 1973 Gibson USA J-55. This one is unique because of the tortoiseshell trim on the back and sides as well as the front. I purchased this guitar the same day as a Gretsch, and I just liked the Gretsch better. Decided to keep only one of them.
It has low action and is excellent for fingerpicking. Included is another slightly higher set of bridge and nut saddles. This guitar plays like a dream, and is in very good condition for a near 40 yr old guitar. Very deep, rich, warm sound.
It has the straightest, truest neck I've ever seen on a vintage guitar.
It has a brand new set of Elixers on it.
Included in the price is the original Gibson USA Custom Hardshell Case.
Paypal only, and it will be delicately wrapped in case, double boxed, foamed, and shipped UPS. The case is very heavy, and it will probably cost more than posted to ship, but that's okay.
