gibson acoustic guitar 652122509782711480 1930s Gibson L4 Archtop

This is a beautiful mid to late 1930's pre-war Gibson L4 archtop that was purchased from Norman's (Norm's Rare Guitars LA,CA) about 10 years ago. Gibson started doing the f-holes on these in 1935, so I would have to imagine it is later than 1935 although I cant remember what year for sure. The serial number is EA-5536 if you want to do your own research, I am sure there is a way to find out for sure. I have not seen many with this particular shell shaped inlays, and I honestly don't know a ton about the specifics about this guitar. I bought it as a player, and it is one of my favorite guitars. I REALLY hate to sell it, but I have a 2 year old, (and another on the way)- and the holidays really wiped me out. It is definitely not in perfect condition, but plays great... especially for that Eddie Lang vibe. It has a few cracks, and has collected a bit of dust- but still sounds great. I think everything on it is original, although I can't say that for sure. If there is anything I can answer, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking.
I reserve the right to cancel this auction if sold outside of ebay.
