This guitar was played and played and played...... and managed to not get a crack or need a repair beside a re-fret job which is pretty recent and a very good job.
The pickguard looks to have been replaced and there is one screw on it that does not seem to be original.
Nickel finish mounting hardware looks original.
Finish checking is consistent with a guitar of the age.
Otherwise, this guitar is original and FINE, FINE FINE...

I restrung it with light gauge Bronze wound strings and it sings like a birdie!! Intonation is right on.
No buzzing even with action set low.
Original Brown leather outside pink fuzz inside Case in pretty rough condition.
This is a definite historical Gibson Collecor Guitar that can been enjoyed by playing.
Its' sound is wonderfull... full rich and sustaining
