Welcome bidders, you are bidding on a truly amazing piece. This is the '87 Gibson USA J-200 electric acoustic guitar. 25.5" scale. 1.70" nut width. 17" bottom bout. 4 9/16" dep. Serial #: 82647595. This is a a really special acoustic. The oversized jumbo body, combined with the solid spruce top & maple back/sides creates a huge tone. There's really no words to describe how big this J-200 sounds. The wood here has is perfectly resonant- you can feel every note and every chord as you play- the sign of a truly special piece. Play with a pick and you engage that maple to bring out the high end mids, fingerpick and that jumbo body responds with all the warmth you could every dream of. One of the great ones, for sure. The onboard active preamp/bridge transducer. labeled 'BMP', adds a bit of articulation. This sounds excptional plugged in- all of that jumbo tone with a touch of highs. The neck here is incredibly thin for a Gibson- - just .80" thick at the 5th fret with a sweet C profile. This guitar falls right into your hands and feels like home. The aesthetics, as you can see, are gorgeous- some really nice figuring in the maple, mustache bridge, multi-ply body and headstock binding, fully bound neck, and incredible inlay work. Excellent condition- there are some small checks and compressions(pics) but nothing that affects the tone or playability ehatsoever. The frets are clean- just professionally setup with action of just about 3/32" at the 12th fret low E. This auction includes the original Gibson hardshell case. 6. Unfortunately, we can no longer ship to the Russian Federation due to a high rate of theft.

7. Due to new USPS guidelines- certain countries will not accept USPS packages over 42". If that is the case, we can remove the neck or, if it is a set/neck-thru we can ship Fedex International for an additional charge.
