Up for bids is a 1952 Gibson LG3. This Gibson is in need of repair and here is what I can tell about it. The back center seam and front center seam below the bridge need to be glued. They are tight, but still need repair. There is a crack next to the pickguard and the side of the pickguard has curled a little. There is loose bracing inside and some of the back center seam pieces are off, but those are included. The saddle is missing as are the bridge string pins and the strap pin. The tuners are not original, but function fine. The frets need redressed and the fingerboard has some wear that would not affect playing. Having stated all that, this LG3 would be a real keeper after some TLC. I don't have a case for it, but I do have an old chipboard case for shipping purposes and will box it up so no damage will occur from normal shipping.
