1969 Gibson J-50 Acoustic Guitar Offered For Immediate Sale By J Hale Music.

Features: Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck/back and sides, walnut stain finish, dreadnought size, rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle, white binding on top and back, rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays, tortoiseshell-grain plastic pickguard. Measures 16" across lower bouts, 4 5/8" rim depth at lower bout, 24 3/4" scale length, 1 11/16" nut width.

Instrument is in good playing condition. Typical amount of lacquer checking for an instrument this age, neck is straight, few chips and dings normal for age, there is a crack in the top from the bridge base to the edge of guitar noted in the pictures. Crack does go through the top piece and should be professionally repaired in the near future, however at the present time it does not create any problems and the guitar plays beautifully. The shaft of the D string tuner is slightly bent but still functional. A hard shell case is included but is not original (shown in photographs).

International Shipments

• For international shipments, we must list the actual price paid on all customs declarations, no exceptions.  Listing an incorrect selling price or sending an item as a ‘gift’ can result in a severe penalty for the seller (that is us!).
  
• In most countries you can expect to pay import duty/VAT at the time of delivery.  These fees are not included in your purchase price nor are they included in shipping/insurance fees paid to us.  Contact your local authorities with regard to rates and regulations.
  
• We will ship internationally via United Parcel Service (UPS) with full insurance. For an exact quotation please advise country, city and postal code.
  
• We will also ship internationally via United States Postal Service (USPS aka US Post Office).  This service is reliable and typically the least expensive for most items.  Please Be Aware Of The Following:
  
  

• USPS limits the size of shipping boxes to 108” girth + height.  This makes it impossible to safely ship most 17” archtop and dreadnaught/jumbo acoustic guitars.  Attempting to ship an oversized box can result in the return of your shipment, loss of shipping expenses and is not recommended.
  
•  Insurance is limited to $500-$650 for many countries.
  
• Most shipping companies identify high value items and transport them with special care.  This is not the case with USPS and we do not recommend this service for expensive and/or large fragile items.
  
• We cannot be responsible for uninsured damage or loss.
