Gibson 1960s Dove Acoustic Guitar

Gibson's masterpiece dreadnought that originated in the 1960's and has become an icon among performers and players. The Dove symbolizes Gibson's prominence in building guitars suitable for display as works of art for viewing, both public and private. In addition, the Dove's powerful sound, attributed to its flamed Maple back and sides, makes it ideal for live performance. Construction features also include: premium solid Sitka Spruce top, Gibson's bound fingerboard with Mother of Pearl parallelogram markers, handmade "Dove-wing" bridge with MOP inlays, and the distinctive engraved pickguard complete with inlaid MOP Dove. Available in its traditional Antique Cherry finish (natural top with cherry back, sides, and neck).
